Prediction model of volume average diameter and analysis of atomization characteristics in electrostatic atomization minimum quantity lubrication

Abstract Minimum quantity lubrication (MQL) is a relatively efficient and clean alternative to flooding workpiece machining. Electrostatic atomization has the merits of small droplet diameter, high uniformity size, strong coating, hence its superiority pneumatic atomization. However, as current research hotspot, influence jet parameters electrical on average diameter droplets not clear. First, by observing shape liquid film at nozzle outlet, law air pressure voltage thickness ( h ) transverse longitudinal fluctuations are determined.
